Hispanic Outreach Mission

We have a community of both resident and temporary residents interested in having a place to worship, to learn, and to serve. Two congregations are currently engaging in the community by teaching English as a second language (ESL). Pastor David Toapanta, who lives in Walterboro and teaches ESL at Colleton County school, is ready to assist in establishing our work.
What is needed? Funding
If every church in our Association would commit to $25/week for 2026, we would have a great head start! Contact Dr. Clark McCrary for details (803-860-1559).

Our Associational WMU Spring Meeting was held at St. George Baptist Church on March 10th at 6:30 pm. Jess Archer, our SCWMU Executive Director-Treasurer and Joel Thrasher, Missions Strategy Leader from Greenville Baptist Association were guest speakers of the night. We had an excellent turnout!
